Canon PowerShot S5 IS Ergonomics

The camera on the size and weight is much more reminiscent of a small DSLR camera. 

When you turn on the camera, the lens is extended, and the cap flies. Some users do not like it. It is located on the left handle with a big projection, thanks to which the camera perfectly fits in your hand and is comfortable to hold. Above right is a ring switch mode; it holds as well as in the SLR camera, on the handle on top of the shutter button, and zoom control. Conveniently implemented switching camera view by turning the ring in the right direction.

Also, right there is a small joystick cursor with which to navigate the menu and mode switching.  All controls are conveniently placed. As a user of the DSLR Nikon D3100 camera, I was fairly easy to deal with management.

Behind there is a swivel screen measuring 2.5 inches. Through it convenient to carry out sight. But it also has a viewfinder; it may be true on a bright sunny day when the display is difficult to see anything.
